- Creating Brand Awareness by promoting products through customer visits, participating in various exhibitions and other online promotions.
- Maintain the list of consultants (nationwide) operating in various sectors like Power, Water, Cement, Steel, Infrastructure and Chemical sectors and visit them periodically to understand the details of various upcoming projects and educate them on technical advantages of our products.
- Making technical presentations to the consultants and customers.
- Collect information about the upcoming projects and collect the required details for the same.
- Meet the persons concerned at various divisions of Consultancy Organizations, who are involved in decision making and impress them upon our company's credentials.
- Collect the list of B2 Offers from Marketing Head and follow-up with Contractor / End customer / Consultants and incorporate our technical specifications in their tender. Inform the change in status of B2 to Firm to Marketing Head & team on a regular basis.
- Collect the details about various events / exhibitions conducted at various regions with the exact potential of those events / exhibitions and ensure our participation
- Collect information about the upcoming projects and collect the required details for the same.
- Get the current market demand and needs in terms of technical specification and price and submit the information to Sales /design /SCM for their further action.
- Gather the information about Competitors- Area of operation, strength and weakness viz a viz FEIL, technical details etc.
- Prepare and maintain the list of Plants and projects, wherein our valves and dampers were supplied (TPP, GTTPP, WTP, STP, Refinery, Cement, Nuclear TPP, Process Industries-Sugar, Paper, Pulp, food etc.)
- Visit various customer sites to understand the working and performance of products and also of the competitors’’ products.
Experience:
- 8-10years of experience in handling Industrial Valves & Pumps, Industrial Hydraulic equipment, Construction or industrial machinery , machine tools, compressors, heaters or boiler industry sales.
- Prior exposure to EPC projects, Industrial Engineering Consultants, Contractors is a must.
- Must have handled at least 10 Industrial consultants
- Must have active industry networks including EPC, End-customers, Influencers, consultants
- Experience in liasoning with Government /Private Customers for generation of business lead is a must.
Education:
- Engineering Degree – Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Production
- MBA or PGDM in marketing is an additional advantage
